Unboxing my Lepai 2020+

Finally received my new amplifier, actually it didn't take all that long, only 12 days or so so.a good positive review for the store I bought it from. Included below are some pictures.

Nice and well packed box. No damage to any of the components that I could see.
Contents included a Australian adapter for the us plug, which I was not expecting so that saved me a couple of dollars.

It is just a nice now that I have it as it was in the pictures, very shiny.

I would have liked to have set it up and test it today but I don't have a female to female 3.5mm adapter handy to connect my Apple airport express to the amp. I will go and pick one up tomorrow and post the results.

Mini Stereo Amplifier - Lepai 2020A+

I am very excited because today I have ordered a mini stereo amplifier from eBay for $20 ($30 if you include delivery) so that I can start the setup of my speaker system here at home.  Don't know how we'll it will perform so I figured that it would be best to stick with one until I'm happy with it, but if it is good then I will be getting at least 4 more of them so I can setup sound zones at home.

Here is what I have ordered:

Pretty good looking little device for a little bit of Chinese made junk, but the reviews talked it up for the price so it's worth a go.  I plan on hooking it up to an apple airport express and using airplay.  It might not be the highest quality of sound options but it should be pretty cheap.  Hopefully it won't be 12 weeks until arrival, eBay says it is shipped already.  Now off to find some decent bookshelf or satellite speakers.
